Chet Singh, known as “ImAPet,” is a 23-year-old American CS:GO player who had coached for teams like Optic Gaming, NRG Esports, Evil Geniuses, and more. Since April 2020, he was looking for a team to lead.

100 Thieves made a new announcement via the official Twitter account and stated that they agreed with ImAPet for the coaching position. ImAPet said that he is so excited for this journey and grateful for the opportunity.

Here is the announcement from 100 Thieves:

Welcome ImAPet as our new CS:GO Head Coach! Chet has been coaching CS:GO at the highest level for over 4 years now and has a strong track record of both developing teams & winning championships. We’re excited to bring his experience to 100 Thieves to lead our team!”

Here is what ImAPet wrote:

“Today starts a new chapter in my life. I was teamless in a pretty scary time, where Corona has pretty much limited a lot of CSGO opportunities and opportunities given weren’t exactly what I would call living up to my expectations.

Thankfully, I gave it enough time and didn’t sign my life away to Valorant where I was able to find a squad that I have a lot of faith in and they seem to have the same for me, so thank you 100 Thieves for the opportunity to let me jump back into competitive CS. I’ve been with the same core of people for the past 2-3 years and now I’m going to jump into something that I’ve been pleasantly surprised with so far.”

He added:

“I’ve enjoyed a lot of my time already with the boys and it really feels like the old NRG environment back in the day when we could all have a laugh with each other. With 100T we’re going to be entering an experimental phase in the team, which I’m really excited for and we’re going to be doing a lot of new things out of our comfort zones during this online season which I think will benefit us more long term ideally. It might not be great immediately but as long as we the team and fans trust the process, we will get there and get to the top. Appreciate all the support and here’s hoping it will be a great year.”
