25-year-old American former CS:GO player Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella had been playing under Team Liquid jersey for over five years. Last month, he decided to switch to Valorant and has been representing 100 Thieves since then.

nitr0 replied to a tweet of the fan named Nam, and explained the decision behind having lots of intelligent players like Joshua “steel” Nissan and Spencer “Hiko” Martin in their rp, instead of having lots of fraggers like Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom and Tyson “TenZ” Ngo.

In the tweet, nitr0 stated that the teams can’t have 1 in-game leader and 4 fraggers into the roster like in the Counter-Strike, because roles/agents could be swapped interchangeably, and they could know about the whole aspect about of the game.

A fan named Nam wrote:

“Excited for 100 Thieves Valorant team but I have some concerns. 3 IGLs which are a lot of brain power, but might lack firepower? Like what we see with OG Esports.

I’m not saying Hiko, nitr0, and steel can’t play, just maybe raw skills are not their strength.”

Here is what Nitro said:

“This isn’t CS, valorant is different. You can’t have 1 brain and 4 fraggers. Agents/roles can be swapped interchangeably and preparing for ‘roles’ instead of ‘agents’ is the key. But we are excited too!”
