Aleksi Jalli, known as “Allu,” is a 28-year-old Finnish CS:GO player who had been playing for ENCE since March 2018. In his career, he earned over $400.000 from the tournaments that he attended.

Today, both Allu and ENCE have made an official announcement on their social media accounts and the organization revealed that Allu takes a leave of absence due to personal reasons. After a short period, Allu revealed the reason why he decided to take a break.

While announcing the departure of Allu, ENCE also stated that they decided to continue with a stand-in in the next tournaments for a while and stated that they agreed with Polish AWP player Olek “hades” Miskiewicz.

Here is the current roster of ENCE:

  • Joonas “doto” Forss
  • Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer
  • Lotan “Spinx” Giladi
  • Paweł “dycha” Dycha
  • Olek “hades” Miskiewicz (stand-in)
  • Aleksi “allu” Jalli (inactive)

Why Did Allu Leave ENCE

According to his own words, Allu has been affected by the hectic years with minimal breaks, which shows that he has been dealing with burnout that olofmeister, ALEX, Xyp9x, and Gla1ve have gone through.

Furthermore, Allu mentioned the high schedule matches in the scene right now and said that keeping going without proper timeout led him to be extremely drained and fatigued, which are both symptoms of burnout.

Because of that, the veteran AWP realized that he can not continue playing CS:GO and compete in the future without having a mental reset. Moreover, Allu said that he is hoping to come back earlier than expected and thanked for the people who supported him during tough times.

Here is what Allu said:

“This has been one of the hardest decission of my career but the end of 2020 & hectic years with minimal breaks has really taken a toll on me. Keeping going without proper time to heal & reflect has led me to being extremely drained & fatigued inside & outside the server.

This feeling inside me has made me realize that a timeout is needed to be able to continue playing and competing in the game I love. My goal is to be back sooner rather than later. Im extremely grateful for people who has supported me through thick & thin. See you soon.”
