Ardis Svarenieks, known as “ardiis,” is a 23-year-old Latvian former CS:GO player who switched to Valorant in April 2020. In July, he joined G2 Esports. After almost a year, he left G2 and joined Team Heretics.

However, ardiis had been dealing with some health problems and Team Heretics wanted to give him time to rest in late July as he was in the hospital for weeks. During this period, Amine “Amilwa” Saidi was standing in for him.

While ardiis announced his return from the medical leave for the last three weeks via Twitter, he also revealed that Team Heretics wanted to continue with their current roster, which means that Amilwa becomes the permanent member of the roster.

As ardiis announced that he is benched in Team Heretics, he also wished luck for his teammates for the future. Afterward, he stated that he is ready to grind in a new project as a flexible player that can play anything.

“Really unfortunate situation man, short time was already amazing,” his teammate in Heretics, Felix “al0rante” Brandl said about ardiis’ departure. “Can´t wait to meet you on stage bro, you the big man for real.”

ardiis on the current situation of Team Heretics:

“After a few rough weeks for me in hospital, I came back to find out that Heretics wanna continue with the current five they have now, wish them the best we had fun in the small time we had and I know some of the players are gonna be big in the future.

Ready to grind with the right project, flexible player (can play anything -smokes) and honestly just wanna get back to winning again. I am still under contract with Heretics but I can explore options.”
