Nicolai Hvilshøj Reedtz, known as “Dev1ce,” is a 25-year-old Danish CS:GO player who has been playing under Astralis jersey for over five years. In his career, he earned over $1.800.000 from the events.

Yesterday, famous reporter DeKay was talking about the importance of physical exercises in the esports scene on Twitter, and Dev1ce wanted to share his own thoughts about it by replying to his post.

As Dev1ce pointed out that exercising could be beneficial for mental health, he also mentioned that putting so many weights in the gym will stress your body and it will cause exhaustion problems combining the stress you got from the game.

DeKay wrote:

“At what point do people in esports realize that exercising is just as beneficial mentally as it is physically? Going to the gym solves more problems than it gets credit for. Start doing it now.”

Here is what Dev1ce said:

“It could help with the mental exhaustion but going to the gym and pressuring your body will raise your cortisol levels which stresses a already stressful body.
I don’t think weight training is the right path for many pros since exhaustion and burnout is such a big problem.”
