24-year-old Danish CS:GO player Nicolai Hvilshøj Reedtz, known as “dev1ce,” has been playing under Astralis jersey for over four years. In his career, he earned over $1.700.000 from the events that he attended.

Dev1ce has shared a new post on his official Twitter account and saddened the fans of Astralis by saying that they should lower the expectations from the team.

As you might remember, Astralis lost their two of their core members, Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth and Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, to burnout, and they are trying to reform themselves with Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer and Jakob “JUGi” Hansen.

Due to this roster changes, they are still trying to adapt to each other and playstyles. Naturally, they are under-performing because of that. Dev1ce stated that they adjusted their expectations after these changes, and the fans should do the same.

Here is what dev1ce said:

Reading the comments on social media is not something I often do, but I notice a high amount of NaCl regarding our performance. Just a heads up, adjust your expectations, we have done that.”

A fan user named Lele replied:

“Don’t really think anyone has any expectations to a lineup with Jugi and Snappi in it.”

Another fan user named Silas wrote:

“Don’t know what people expect at the start when you change 40% of your roster. Takes time.”
