Lukas Egholm Rossander, known as “gla1ve” is a 24-year-old Danish CS:GO player who has been in-game leading for Astralis since October 2016. After their victory at the Intel Extreme Masters XIV Beijing, during the interview with, he revealed why should they do to prove they are the best team in the CS:GO scene.

“There are a lot of teams circling around the top. You are a well-oiled machine, you have Evil Geniuses, who have been going up and down but can win tournaments, fnatic, who are showing up, Liquid disappearing a bit, FaZe… how do you see the rest of the pack?”

gla1ve replied:

“There are so many contenders right now, us, EG, fnatic, FaZe, Liquid, NiP are doing a good job now too, Na`Vi.. that I think this is the moment in which you can pull through and get ahead of the rest if you do good late in the year. If we have three good tournaments, that would be our chance to show we are better than all of those teams. That’s what we need to do, but it’s going to be really tough. “

He added:

” It’s all about hitting the right day and tournament right now because you have one good tournament, then the next one you crash out and lose to some team that you shouldn’t lose to, and it feels like it’s the same for every team. I’m looking forward to seeing if everybody can find the right procedure to add more stability to their game and we can see better games.”
