Astralis’ Dev1ce Shares The Biggest Difference Between Hampus And Gla1ve

Nicolai Hvilshøj Reedtz, known as “Dev1ce,” is a 26-year-old Danish CS:GO player who is the most consistent player of all time. Since 2016, he had been dominating the scene with Astralis, becoming one of the most-earning players in the game.

However, things weren’t going well for the Astralis for over two years. Surprisingly, Dev1ce decided to leave the Danish squad and join the Swedish organization Ninjas In Pyjamas in April 2021.

During a recent appearance on Jaxon – Esports News & Videos, Dev1ce talked about Astralis’ new squad, the differences between his in-game leader Hampus “hampus” Poser and Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, and many more.

In the conversation, Dev1ce pointed out that Hampus is a good in-game leader who loves to take a bit more risk compared to Gla1ve and stated that he doesn’t even afraid of dying in the game at all.

Furthermore, the Danish AWPer revealed the biggest difference between Gla1ve and Hampus. As Dev1ce said, Hampus is very good at reading the map where Gla1ve is better at reading the opponent.

Moreover, Dev1ce mentioned that Gla1ve told him to keep hampus on the roster when he first learn Dev1ce’s departure from the team and stated that both of these players have respect for each other.

Dev1ce on differences between Hampus and Gla1ve:

“I think he’s good. I think he’s a little bit more risk, a risk taker. I think he likes to live on there it’s a little bit, and he’s not afraid of  dying in the game and stuff like that.

So definitely the two different ways of kind of IGLing but he’s very good and he’s very very good at reading the map whereas Gla1ve was more good at reading the opponent. I think
that’s the two differences.

But the funny part is that the first thing that Gla1ve said when I when I told him I was leaving, he said that if you’re going to NIP make sure they keep hampus. That’s the first thing he said so I think he admires him a little bit and hampus definitely admires Gla1ve as well.

So I think they have a lot of respect for each other and even though they have maybe two different styles of calling, I think that they both like to be leaders. He’s definitely a good leader as well the same goes for Gla1ve.”
