Markus Kjærbye, known as “Kjearbye,” is a 22-year-old Danish CS:GO player who had been playing for FaZe Clan since August 2020. Before that, he had played for North and Astralis.

Yesterday, FaZe Clan made a new statement via their official Twitter account and announced roster changes for their CS:GO roster. They signed ex-Team Liquid player Twistzz, and decided to bench Kjaerbye.

Following this decision, Kjaerbye wanted to share his thoughts and feelings about this decision and took his official Twitter account to do so.

In the tweet, Kjearbye was mentioned the unfortunate things happened with FaZe Clan after he joined the roster and said that he is still eager to play and compete at highest level even though his journey with FaZe ended early. Also, he said that he is looking for his new adventure.

Here is what Kjearbye said:

“Benched from FaZe Clan – Feels disappointing right now, not gonna lie. I came into my first international team, with big dreams and high hopes, but sadly never really found the synergy and consistency. I respect their decision, and wish the guys best of luck in the future.

The season just started and, I am very eager to play. For now I am looking forward to grind a lot of FPL in February, while looking for my next adventure & project within CS. First being cut in my career, it doesn’t feel nice to not fit in, but it might be positive in end.”
