In 2019, BIG Clan struggles so much that everybody expected some roster changes for the new year. On 1st January 2020, BIG announced that they will be adding the former Sprout players Nils “k1to” Gruhne and Florian “syrsoN” Rische.

The most unexpected part was the announcement of the farewells. Owen “smooya” Butterfield and İsmailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş was expected to quit the roster but Johannes “nex” Maget left the team within smooya.

BIG Clan:

“With a new year comes a new start. Please give a warm welcome to @syrsoNCSGO and @k1tocs! Read about the changes we made in order to become a force to be reckoned with again.”

“I’m very excited that I get the chance to play with these experienced players in BIG. It will not be easy in the beginning, but I think if we work hard enough we can become a really good team. It’s also an advantage for syrsoN and me that we already worked with tow b together this year. I´m looking forward to all our upcoming tournaments. Let’s do this”

syrsoN said:

“2020 starts with a new chapter for me. Joining BIG means also I’m finally reunited with my former teammate Tizian “tiziaN” Feldbusch, whom I’ve already played with during my time in ALTERNATE aTTaX. I have high goals for this year, such as winning tournaments and qualifying for ESL One Cologne. I’m sure we can reach these together and with the support of our fans”
