Broxah Becomes The MVP Of The Week In LCS With His Vi Pick

Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen is a 23-year-old Danish League Of Legends player who had played for top-tier teams like Fnatic and Team Liquid in the past. In November 2020, he surprised everybody by joining Counter Logic Gaming.

Counter Logic Gaming has been struggling in the LCS Spring 2020, as well as in the Summer split because the records are carried over from the Spring Split. However, they played so great in Week 3 of the Summer split that everybody got impressed.

One of the main reasons for this success was an unexpected pick from Broxah, which was Vi. She was a champion that is not popular in the high-elo, especially in the professional scene. Until this week, Vi hasn’t been picked at all.

Although Vi wasn’t a champion that professional players pick this year, Broxah managed to win two games in a row with her, and he managed to get a 100% with Vi. In this way, he proved that he can read the off-meta champions who are powerful right now.

With playing Vi, Broxah and CLG stunned 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses, who are two of the best teams in the LCS. In the last game of the week, Counter Logic Gaming beat Dignitas to secure a 3-0 weekend.

Following such performances, the officials picked Broxah as the most valuable player on week three of LCS. After having such an award, Broxah showed his gratitude to his teammate and coaching staff for their hard work.

Broxah on getting the MVP award for week 3 of LCS:

“I’m honored to receive this Player of the Week award. Credit to my teammates and coaches, everyone really helped set me up for success and I’m proud of how we performed as a team this weekend.”
