Troy Jaroslawski, known as “Canadian,” is a 25-year-old Canadian Rainbow Six Siege player who had played for teams like Evil Geniuses, Spacestation Gaming, and many more. Right now, he is looking for a team to represent.

Before Team SoloMid attended Six Mexico Major 2021, it was announced that Bryan “Merc” Wrzek is tested positive for coronavirus, and their coach Owen “Pojoman” Mitura will be standing in for him.

Prior to that, Pojoman also stood-in for Emilio “Geometrics” Leynez Cuevas at North American League – 2021 Season – Stage 2, in which they played really well and become the second-best team in the league.

However, Team SoloMid has been underperforming in the Six Mexico Major, and they have no chance to qualify for the playoffs right now. By sharing a new post on Twitter, Canadian explained why Pojoman’s substitution for Merc is the main reason of their underperforming.

As Canadian said, Geometrics is a support player for Team SoloMid, and it felt more natural to have Pojoman in his position as a stand-in due to his game knowledge. Unfortunately, things are different in this tournament.

Canadian pointed out that Merc brings firepower to the North American roster whereas Pojoman only can provide support and in-game leading. Therefore, they are lack firepower and entry, which caused them to underperform in the end.

Canadian on Team SoloMid’s current roster:

“Pojo subbing in to a support role for Geo was a natural swap. However without Merc they are lacking that naturally aggressive entry which has always been an asset for them. TSM is still talented enough to recover but it’s a really tough situation for them.”
