Chovy Reveals His Goal For Worlds 2021

Jeong Ji-hoon, known as “Chovy,” is a 20-year-old South Korean League Of Legends player who is considered as one of the best mid laners in the world. Since November 2020, he has been playing for Hanwha Life Esports.

Hanwha Life has become the third Korean team to qualify for the League Of Legends World Championship along with T1 and DAMWON Gaming, and Chovy revealed his goals for the tournament during a recent interview with Esporin’s Simge Nur Erten.

In the conversation, Chovy showed his competitiveness by saying that his personal goal is to dominate all the mid laners on the rift and pointed out that his main goal to win the Worlds as every other player.

Furthermore, the talented player stated that he wants to face every single mid laner in the tournament because he can prove if Chovy is the best mid laner in the world or not to the whole community.

In addition to that, Chovy also mentioned that even though the gap between the regions is pretty close right now, the Korean teams have a better chance of winning the League Of Legends World Championship.

Chovy on his goal in Worlds in the interview:

My personal goal is to dominate all mid laners, and what I want to achieve is to win the 2021 World Championship.

I want to play against all mid laners and I wonder if I can really be the best mid laner.”

Later in the conversation, Chovy shared his feelings about attending to Worlds once again and touched upon the fact that they have become a better team to compete in the tournament compared to the Summer split.
