Anthony Malaspina, known as “Vanity,” is a 22-year-old American former CS:GO player who had played for teams like eUnited, Chaos Esports Club, and more. In February 2021, he switched to Valorant.

Vanity’s Valorant career started with Version1, and they managed to qualify for the biggest Valorant tournament that has ever made so far, VCT Masters Reykjavík. In the tournament, they eliminated against Fnatic in the Lower Bracket Round 3.

On the other hand, Cloud9 couldn’t get any success since their entrance to the Valorant scene, and they have been looking to revamp their roster to start a fresh and new page.

Yesterday, the North American organization announced that they agreed with Vanity to join Cloud9 via their official Twitter account, which means that they have 7 active players on the roster right now.

In a short period, Cloud9 will probably announce which players would leave, but it doesn’t seem like they will part ways with Erick “Xeppaa” Bach and Nathan “leaf” Orf as Vanity mentioned that he is looking forward to playing with them.

Cloud9 announced the addition of Vanity with these words:

“We got him.”

Vanity said:

Chaos9… Excited to reunite with leaf and Xeppaaa.”
