Following the unsuccessful period after signing the talented ATK roster in January 2020 and couldn’t perform well in the tournaments, Cloud9 decided to create a new team and made this announcement on the official Twitter account.

In the post, Cloud9 announced that former caster Henry “HenryG” Greer became the general manager of the CS:GO roster, and former 100 Thieves coach Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović joined the team as a coach. Cloud9 also revealed that these two members will start to create a new roster for the organization.

Furthermore, HenryG and Kassad shared their reactions by sharing posts on Twitter and both of them seemed so excited for the future. Also, kassad thanked Cloud9 for the opportunity and couldn’t describe his happiness for joining such a great organization after four months of searching for a new home.

Here is the official statement from Cloud9:

“The first pages in the new #C9CSGO chapter… Welcome to Cloud9 @HenryGcsgo and @kassad!”

HenryG said:

“Today, I am thrilled to announce my new position as GM of CS:GO at Cloud9. My first official acquisition is our enigmatic Head Coach: Kassad. Please take the time to read the Richard Lewis article below, where we break down our goals of the project.”

Kassad wrote:

“Thank you Cloud9 for the opportunity to be a part of such an elite organisation. I cant even describe how happy and proud i feel right now!Exciting times ahead as i m looking forward working with HenryG and build something great together!”
