Luka “Perkz” Perković is a 22-year-old Croatian League Of Legends player who has been playing under Cloud9 jersey for over five months. Before that, he was playing for G2 Esports between 2015 and 2020.

After Cloud9 eliminated from MSI 2021 in the Rumble Stage, the iconic mid laner of the American organization took his official Twitter account to share a new post and revealed his opinion about their performance in the event.

In the post, Perkz admitted that this wasn’t the best performance they could show in the tournament and said that it was a great learning experience for all of them. Also, Perkz pointed out that these results showed them that they need to get better.

Furthermore, Perkz mentioned that he is kind of shocked because of the result and mentioned that they had lots of positivities during the tournament, but it wasn’t enough for them to pursue on Knockout Stage.

Not the best showing from us this tournament, it was a great learning experience and showing us what we have to get better at,” Perkz said. “Kind of blows but there were also a lot of positives we were just not slightly good enough. Til next time!”

Cloud9’s Performance In MSI 2021

After winning the LCS 2021 LCS Spring 2021 against Team Liquid, Cloud9 was invited to the Mid-Season Invitational 2021. In the groups stage, they faced the Korean champions DAMWON Gaming, Japanese roster DetonatioN FocusMe, and South American team  Infinity Esports.

During the group stage, Cloud9 managed to beat all of the teams at least for once, but they one match against DAMWON Gaming, and one match against DetonatioN FocusMe, which made them the second-best team in the group.

Following the results, Cloud9 headed to the Rumble Stage, and met the favorite of the tournament in the first match,  Royal Never Give Up. Although they played pretty great, they lost the game after the Chinese team headed to their base as they tried to take the Baron.

At the same that, they dominated by the European team, MAD Lions. In the second day, they couldn’t see a victory in the rift as they lost DAMWON Gaming and PSG Talon. But, they got their first win against Pentanet GG in the next day.

Unfortunatly for Cloud9, they lost against DAMWON once again. In the fourth day of the Rumble Stage, Cloud9 faced Royal Never Give Up and beat all the expectation by overcoming the Chinese team.

However, this wasn’t enough for the North American organization because they lost three following matches. In the last day of the Rumble Stage, they beat MAD Lions and took their consolation victory while saying goodbye to the tournament.
