Luka Perković, known as “Perkz,” is a 22-year-old Croatian League Of Legends player who has been playing under Cloud9 jersey for over four months. Before that, he was playing for G2 Esports since 2015.

After Perkz and his colleagues win the LCS finals against Team Liquid, they spoke in the post-final interview with the LCS hosts, and Perkz revealed his feelings about being qualified for MSI and watching G2’s elimination.

In the conversation, Perkz mentioned that a part of him is satisfied because he is qualified and his former team couldn’t, but another part of him is pretty sad because he is a still friend of them.

Interviewer asked:

“Perkz, are you disappointed that you can’t face G2 at MSI? What are your thoughts on their loss?”

Perkz replied:

“I am quite sad that they lost because it would have been fun to have a ‘grudge match’ against my old teammates. Part of me is a bit satisfied that I won and they lost, but because they are my friends, part of me is a bit sad that they lost, especially once I saw their faces after they lost.

I know that they will come back in summer and we will see each other at Worlds, so that’s all that matters.”
