Cloud9 is a North American esports organization that has been competing in many games such as CS:GO, Valorant, and League Of Legends. Since 2018, they have been competing in Rainbow Six Siege scene.

At first, Cloud9 signed a North American roster, but they decided to leave North America as they signed a new roster in South Korea next year. Even though they had been successful in Asia, they couldn’t perform in international events.

Recently, they even failed to deliver in Asia-Pacific League 2021 as they couldn’t qualify for Six Mexica Major. Following such results, Cloud9 didn’t want to go further in the Rainbow Six Siege scene and made a new announcement on Twitter.

In the post, Cloud9 announced that they parted ways with the whole Rainbow Six Siege roster and wished luck for the future. However, the organization didn’t reveal if they will continue to compete in the Rainbow Six Siege scene yet.

Today my journey is end on Cloud9. I was frustrated, I enjoyed the victory, and I had a great time,” Seongsoo “EnvyTaylor” Kim said. “I was so proud to be part of Cloud9. Thank you Cloud9, my boss Jack Etienne and Tifa, Kala, robin. All fans, see you soon.”

Here is the official announcement from Cloud9:

“Today we are saddened to announce that we are parting ways with our Rainbow Six Siege team. Thank you all for the wonderful experiences we’ve had together!”
