Cloud9 CEO and founder, Jack Etienne, shocked the community by announcing roster changes for the League Of Legends team, who recently won the LCS Spring 2021 and attended MSI 2021.

As you might remember, Cloud9 hyped up the whole League Of Legends community by signing G2 Esports’ Luka “Perkz” Perković in November 2020, and they had huge expectations from the squad.

Cloud9 was the favorite organization to win the LCS Spring 2021 among the ten organizations, and they become the champions of the split although they had lots of ups and downs throughout the regular season.

Alongside Perkz and Robert “Blaber” Huang , Zven was the most shining member with his due Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme in the bot lane. Also, he was performing so well that he even selected to the first all-pro team of LCS 2021.

Even though Cloud9 underperformed in lots of matches at MSI 2021, they had great showing against the best teams in the world. During the tournament, Perkz and Zven are the most shining members in the tournament for Cloud9.

However, the North American organization decided to send Zven to the academy roster for some reason as they promoted the 23-year-old Australian AD carry Calvin “K1ng” Truong from the academy.

“Excited to play with one of the greatest western players of all time,” K1ng shows his excitement about joining Cloud9 and praised his duo in the bot lane Vulcan. “International superstar and mechanical genius.”

Cloud9 is now:

  • Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami
  • Robert “Blaber” Huang
  • Luka “Perkz” Perković
  • Calvin “K1ng” Truong
  • Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme
