Marcelo Augusto David, known as “Coldzera,” is a 26-year-old Brazilian CS:GO player who is titled the best player for 2016 and 2017 by hltv. In his career, he had played for teams such as SK Gaming, Luminosity Gaming, and MIBR.

In September 2019, Coldzera joined FaZe Clan with big hopes, which failed to happen due to the continues roster changes within the organization. Even though they signed lots of great players such as Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye, the chemistry wasn’t there for them.

At the start of this year, FaZe signed Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken and Finn “karrigan” Andersen, but things didn’t work well once again. Back in June, Coldzera decided to step down from the roster following the bad results and started looking for his new home.

Last month, Complexity Gaming announced that they will be benching Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke due to a broken wrist, and they agreed with Niels Christian “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen to stand in for k0nfig at ESL Pro League Season 14.

However, Complexity Gaming couldn’t perform in the tournament with the new team members as well as a new stand-in. Following their elimination from ESL Pro League Season 14, hltv, Dexerto, and 1pv.fr reported that they are looking to add Coldzera to the roster.

In the report, it was announced that the time Coldzera will be playing for the North American organization is unclear, but he is most likely play at BLAST Premier Fall Groups, facing his former team FaZe Clan as his debut match.

If the report comes true, Complexity Gaming will be:

Benjamin “blameF” Bremer
Valentin “poizon” Vasilev
Justin “jks” Savage
Patrick “es3tag” Hansen
Marcelo “coldzera” David (stand-in)
Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke (medical leave)

Most likely, Coldzera will represent Complexity Gaming until k0nfig’s return to the team. As k0nfig announced earlier, the cast on his hand will be removed in the middle of September, which will be followed by rehabilitation.
