Counter Logic Gaming is one of the organizations in the North American League Of Legends scene that aiming to reach out to playoffs during the splits. As they are a solid mid-tier team in this split following the addition of Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen and Finn “Finn” Wiestål.

However, Counter Logic Gaming struggled to perform in LCS Spring 2021, and the poor performance continued in LCS Summer 2021 besides some of the incredible performances by Broxah’s Vi.

Following their devastating performance, the organization is sitting in last place alongside Golden Guardians. Therefore, Counter Logic Gaming wanted to make roster changes to hope that they could reach out to playoffs.

As for the changes, Counter Logic Gaming thought that one of the biggest problems is in the chemistry between mid lane and the jungle, and they wanted to add Tanner “Damonte” Damonte who recently played for 100 Thieves.

But, Counter Logic Gaming didn’t announce anything about their current mid laner Eugene “Pobelter” Park whether if he is going to leave the organization or move to the academy roster of the team.

Subsequent to the announcement, Damonte shared a new post on his official Twitter account and mentioned that they are going to do their best in order to qualify for the playoffs, which means that they need to climb four ladders in the standings.

Here is the official announcement by Counter Logic Gaming:

We are making a change in the mid lane. Damonte will be starting for CLG this weekend. Thank you to our fans for continuing to support the team. We’re committed to finishing this season strong.”
