Nathan Jordan Schmitt, known as “NBK,” is a 27-year-old CS:GO player who had played for the top tier teams like Team Envy, G2 Esports, Team Vitality, and many more. Recently, he had been playing for OG Esports.

Unfortunately, the veteran player had been underperforming for a while, and that’s why he got benched by OG Esports. Even though he made a huge statement with his performance while standing in for DBL Poney, he was still under contract with OG.

Yesterday, NBK announced on his official Twitter account by sharing a video that he is transitioning to Valorant and will be retiring from CS:GO. However, he is yet to announce his new organization.

The legendary player mentioned that he have done everything he could possibly do during his CS:GO career, winning majors, and living the biggest disappointments. He also said that it is time for a change for the future.

After NBK announced his new path, almost every other member in the CS:GO community wished him luck for his next journey and revealed that they all being sad to see such a personality retiring from the game.
