Christopher Alesund, known as “GeT_RiGhT” is a 29-year-old veteran CS:GO player who has been playing with Ninjas In Pyjamas for seven years. On 14 September, during the interview with, GeT_RiGhT said that he had high expectations for the StarLadder Berlin Major and that tournament was a failure for them.

“Golden famously helped in bringing fnatic up a notch during his in-game leading days for the organisation. Were there any aspects of his calling that NiP adopted?”

GeT_RiGhT replied:

“The team had decided beforehand that Lekr0 would stay as the in-game leader during the Major, and he [Golden] was going to be helping us out by playing. The team decided this would be the right call to make. It was a team decision, and I believe this was the right way to go with it. Sadly, it didn’t go the way we wanted it to, and people started regretting the choices we made, but at the same time, we did what we did, we made the decision and we just have to stand up to it.”

He added:

“I know there were a lot of things that he wanted to help us with and improve. We made a lot of small fixes and whatnot, but I believe that we actually had too short a period of time to get into a better gear, sadly. For me, I can’t really bring up any specifics about it, I just think it’s a little bit sad that we didn’t at least win a game, or make it to the playoffs. I had really high expectations for the Major.”
