Ladislav Kovács, known as “GuardiaN,” is a 29-year-old Slovakian CS:GO player who had played for teams like Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, and more. Right now, he is contracted with Natus Vincere, sitting on the bench since 2020.

GuardiaN spoke in a recent interview with Rivalry CS and revealed his thoughts about his former teammate and one of the best players in the world, s1mple.

In the conversation, GuardiaN mentioned that it is really hard to explain if he is underrated or not and said that he is a little bit overrated, mentioning the behavior problems of Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev.

Even though he criticized this part of s1mple a bit, GuardiaN stated that he is still the best player in the world and pointed out that he is fairly-rated by the community. In this way, he also proved how a great player s1mple is.

Here is what GuardiaN said:

“This is a hard question for me because I played with him, and I know more than the people outside of the game, our public. If you look globally at it, I think he is fairly-rated. I don’t think he is underrated.

From my experience, I would say he is a little bit overrated in some factors, but he is still the best in Counter-Strike, I would say.”
