24-year-old Spanish CS:GO player Óscar Cañellas Colocho, known as “Mixwell,” had played for teams like Cloud9, Movistar Riders, Optic Gaming, and many more. In his career, he earned around $250.000 from the tournaments that he attended.

Mixwell has shared a new update on his official Twitter account and revealed the differences between CS:GO and Riot Games’ new FPS game, Valorant. He stated that Valorant will be more viable for casual players, and CS:GO seemed like for the professionals right now.

Here is what Mixwell said:

“CS:GO has never died and it will not die, but Valorant is a good game and both can coexist together. For me, Valorant has the upper hand for casuals and CSGO for professionals for now. Maybe things change in the future, we don’t know.”

A fan user named Skylex replied:

“Yeah I don’t understand the people who say one game will kill the other one etc, both games are similar but are different enough to have different player-bases, for instance Valorant will probably not fill my void for CS and same goes the other way.”

Another fan user named Spectrum replied:

“Valorant is basically Overwatch, might be fun to play but shit to watch.”
