Mathias Sommer Lauridsen, known as “MSL,” is a 26-year-old Danish CS:GO player who was recently playing for North before the organization disbanded. Right now, he is looking for a team to play.

During a recent interview with hltv.org, MSL talked about their performances and problems in North, and why he didn’t join any team since parting ways with the organization in February 2021.

In the conversation, MSL mentioned that he got offers after he left North but he didn’t think that rosters are good enough. Because of that, he rejected the offers even though they were offering good amounts of money.

Here is what MSL said:

“At the beginning of the year, just when I had got out of North, I had some very good offers money-wise, but I didn’t feel that the lineups were strong enough.

So I chose to wait, which is risky, but I did it because I don’t really feel that I need to hurry. I want the right project and I took a risk. We’ll see if it pays off.”
