CS:GO Player Smooya Farewells The Scene: “Goodbye Counter-Strike”

Owen Butterfield, known as “Smooya,” is a 20-year-old British CS:GO player who has been playing for Chaos Esports Club since January 2020. Over a week ago, Smooya was benched due to the visa issues and he is still under contract with Chaos.
Smooya has shared a new tweet on his official Twitter account yesterday and announced that he won’t be able to play Counter-Strike for a while because the United Kingdom is will be under lockdown due to the coronavirus.
As you might already know, COVID-19, publicly known as coronavirus, is a highly contagious disease that spreading all around the globe for three months. So far, over 700K cases have confirmed by the authorities.
After saying goodbye to Counter-Strike for a short period because of the shutdown in his country, Smooya showed how much he missed playing the game at high-level.

“UK Lockdown likely being extended until June? Goodbye CS career…”
Famous caster Anders Blume replied:
“We can arrange a showmatch or two if you need Owen?”
