Damian Steele, known as “daps,” is a Canadian CS:GO player who had played for teams like NRG Esports, Optic Gaming, Gen.G Esports, and more. On the other hand, Chet “Chet” Singh coached for the teams like Optic Gaming, NRG Esports, Evil Geniuses, and lastly 100 Thieves.

Yesterday, NRG Esports officially announced that they are entering the Valorant esports scene with the additions of daps and Chet, who were also playing under NRG Esports jersey in the past.

While Chet is showing how excited he is by saying that he is kookiness forward to begin the management with daps, daps stated that he is happy to back NRG Esports as a Valorant player. Also, daps stated that he is still learning the game and trying out the people for the team.

Here is the official statement from NRG Esports:

“Once #NRGfam always #NRGfam... Welcome home daps and Chet. Let’s get this Valorant team started.”

Here is what Chet said:

Joined NRG Esports for Valorant. Excited to begin with management I can believe in again and coaching for daps once more.”

Happy to be back with NRG Esports for Valorant, definitely one of the best orgs I’ve ever been with. Only scrimmed the game a few times but slowly learning and trying out people for the team!”
