Nicolai Hvilshøj Reedtz, known as “Dev1ce,” is a 25-year-old Danish CS:GO player who had played for teams like Team SoloMid, Team Dignitas, and more. Since 2016, he had been playing Astralis and they dominated the scene for years.

However, Astralis was underperforming following the online era due to coronavirus and the roster changes that caused by the burnout problems of Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth and Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander.

Therefore, Dev1ce decided to leave Astralis and joined Ninjas In Pyjamas last month. At the start of May, they attended their first tournament Flashpoint Season 3. Their first match was against Anonymo Esports, which created a huge controversy.

After eliminating Anonymo Esports, they beat up FunPlus Phoenix with a clean sweep. But, they lost against G2 Esports at the Upper Bracket Round 3. Then, the Swedish organization faced BIG Clan in the lower bracket, and eliminated the German squad with 2-1.

In the next match, they were against one of the most performing teams in this year, Heroic. Nevertheless, Dev1ce and his colleagues managed to run past Heroic, and faced G2 Esports in the Lower Bracket Finals.

Ninjas In Pyjamas managed to get their revenge against G2 Esports, and they reached the finals in the first tournament they played with Dev1ce. Also, the final match will be played tomorrow against Mousesport.

Although the result of the tournament is not certain yet, NIP earned the respect of the commıunity with its performances so far. Furthermore, we should mention that dev1ce is the shining member of the NIP throughout the tournament.

They were playing so great in those matches that even Natus Vincere’s Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev was impressed. No matter what, NIP fight to the end and I like it,” the best player in the world said.

From the seventeen maps in the Flashpoint, Dev1ce played only five maps below 1 rating and stand out for his team every time they needed. Also, Dev1ce was the top fragger of the team for the last three series.
