Heo Su, known as “Showmaker,” is a 21-year-old South Korean League Of Legends player who is considered one of the best mid laners in the world. Since November 2017, he has been playing for DAMWON Gaming.

Showmaker and DAMWON Gaming have been performing exceptionally this year as they won both Summer and Spring splits in LCK. Therefore, they qualified for the League Of Legends World Championship from the first seed.

In the Worlds, Showmaker will be facing the world’s best mid laners such as Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, Luka “Perkz” Perković, Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon, Marek “Humanoid” Brázda, and many more.

During a recent interview with Korizon Esports’ Ashley Kang, Showmaker showed his respect for the Czech mid laner Humanoid.

Humanoid is one of the best players in MAD Lions, and he help the European organization to win LEC Spring 2021 as well as LEC Summer 2021. Following their victory in the Summer split, they also managed to qualify for the Worlds.

In the conversation, Showmaker stated that he wants to face MAD Lions from the European region because of Humanoid. Then, the Korean mid laner touched upon the fact that Humanoid improved himself so much in years and that’s why he wants to face him in the Worlds.

Showmaker said that he recognizes Humanoid when he was playing for Syplce in 2019 and pointed out that he left a strong impression on him because of his playstyle even though he wasn’t playing really well back in the days.

Showmaker on facing MAD Lions:

I remember Humnaoid all the way from 2019, back from when he was playing for Splyce. Humanoid didn’t perform that well that year, but he left me a strong impression. He was memorable. I’ll tell you another scrim story.

We were scrimming against Splyce this one time. Humanoid had picked Syndra, and I was on Yasuo myself. It was a Gragas-Yasuo vs Syndra match-up. Humanoid kept dying, he died once, twice, three times … Then he’d keep coming back to fight me!

Like, that left a huge impression on me… That year, 2019, he went all the way to the quarterfinals… Then in 2020 his team, unfortunately, dropped out at Play-In Stage. However, I think Humanoid himself performed well.

I have always rated Humanoid high – And this time, he’s coming to worlds by once again winning the LEC. I want to meet him.”
