Adam Eccles, known as “ec1s,” is a 21-year-old British former CS:GO player who started to make a name for himself in Fnatic Academy, but his CS:GO career didn’t go shiny as quickly as everybody expected.

Before making his name know in the high-level of Counter-Strike, ec1s decided to switch to Valorant in April 2020 with fish123 roster, which signed by Team Liquid in August alongside Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom.

Even though Team Liquid was a solid team in Europe, they were aiming to become the best. Therefore, they wanted to part ways ec1s as they signed Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen, who is one of the most talented players in the scene.

Yesterday, the Swedish organization Ninjas In Pyjamas announced that they added Adam “ec1s” Eccles as their new in-game leader while veteran player Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans transitions to the assistant coach.

Furthermore, Ninjas In Pyjamas revealed that Ex6TenZ had been struggling with some injuries for a while, and that’s why he decided to step down from the main roster. Also, he will be recovering from his injuries during this period.

As ec1s was saying that it feels great to represent such a great organization like Ninjas In Pyjamas, he then mentioned that their roster is mixed up with experienced and talented players that could allow them to become one of the best teams.

ec1s said:

“It’s a great feeling and an honor to be joining NIP: an organization that I’ve watched since I was a little kid many years ago. Seeing their legendary CS:GO rosters winning events, I always aspired to get there one day.

Our roster is bursting with talent, experience, and has the right mixture to be the best. Our upcoming boot camp in Serbia is a great opportunity to meet everyone and kick start off our journey together! I’m pumped.”

Later in the announcement, head coach of Ninjas In Pyjamas’ Valorant team, Emil “eMIL” Sandgren, also praised the talent of ec1s and pointed out that he is a very good individually skilled in-game leader that they could have asked for.
