EG’s Brehze And Stanislaw Take A Break From CS:GO As They Miss BLAST Fall Groups

North American players Peter “Stanislaw” Jarguz and Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte have been playing under Evil Geniuses jersey since September 2019 as the organization acquired the NRG Esports roster.
For the last two years, Evil Geniuses was struggling to perform in the tournaments. Therefore, the organization decided to sign Owen “oBo” Schlatter and Michał “MICHU” Müller as Tarik “tarik” Celik and Ethan “Ethan” Arnold leaves.
However, the North American organization couldn’t return to the top suddenly, and Stanislaw decided to take a break from the game due to mental problems before they compete at ESL Pro League Season 14.
While it was announced that Daps will be standing in for the in-game leader and he will return in BLAST Fall Groups, Evil Geniuses announced today that Stanislaw will be extending his break for the BLAST.
In addition to that, the organization announced that the young gunner, Brehze, will also be taking a break from the game due to mental health issues. During this period, Teodor “SPELLAN” Nikolov will be standing in for the American rifle.
“Pretty rough situation but the starting lineup will return for the NA RMR when we return to NA and I will finally get to coach,” Daps said about the roster change. “Thank you Spellan for standing in last minute!”
Evil Geniuses announced the roster change via official website:
“On September 16th, the team will kick off BLAST Fall Groups taking on Astralis in the first match of Group A. For this event, the EG roster will not include Peter ‘Stanislaw’ Jarguz or Vincent ‘Brehze’ Cayonte as both team members have requested time away to focus on their respective mental health.
It’s our ambition at EG to compete in and lift trophies at the biggest events in esports; however, no competitive results come before the well-being of our players. We ask our fans to join us in supporting our players in this period.”
Evil Geniuses’ roster for the BLAST Fall Groups:
Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov
Owen “oBo” Schlatter
Michał “MICHU” Müller
Damian “daps” Steele
Teodor “SPELLAN” Nikolov
Further in the announcement, Evil Geniuses stated that the original roster will be playing for the Intel Extreme Masters Fall after the BLAST event as they want to bring points for the upcoming major event.
