Jonathan Jablonowski, known as “EliGE,” is a 24-year-old American CS:GO player who is one of the most consistent riflers in the world. Since 2015, he has been representing Team Liquid.

CS:GO is one of the most stable games in the market right now, and it is also the most consistent one. Even though the game is so smooth, it doesn’t mean that CS:GO doesn’t have any bugs. Recently, EliGE showed one of the most crucial but least known bugs in the game.

The bug happens when you release the walking button, which is the shift key in default settings, and it makes your accuracy go higher than it should be. If we think that walking is one of the most important features in the game, this bug is affecting most of the players.

EliGE shared a new post on Twitter and shared a video that explains how this bug happens. Then, EliGE wanted Valve to fix this bug as soon as possible because it makes players to miss easy shots that they shouldn’t.

Later on, the experienced player mentioned that the bug is more noticeable when you are aware of it, which might be the reason why sometimes players feel like their bullet disappear suddenly even though the crosshair was on the enemy.

EliGE wrote about the bug:

We need this shiftwalk bug fixed, please CS:GO.

Credit to Birkir and Zoddom which have been showing it for a while, but this bug is way more noticeable after you’re aware of it.”
