One of the long-established organizations in the North American scene, eUnited, decided to quit the Rainbow Six Siege scene and announced this news by sharing a new post on the official Twitter account.

As you can see in the announcement, eUnited pointed out the poor results and admitted that things didn’t work out as they expected. Also, the organization mentioned that there were lots of reasons behind this decision and stated that the effect of the coronavirus outbreak shouldn’t be underestimated.

While wishing luck to their players, eUnited also revealed that they will help the players to find them a new home and said that they will providing the gaming house to the players in this period.

Here is the official statement from the organization:

“Today, eUnited is sad to announce our departure from competitive Rainbow Six Siege. Unfortunately, our first year in Siege did not go the way we had hoped – and while a lot of factors contributed to the decision to depart from Siege, the effect that COVID-19 has had on the esports ecosystem cannot be understated.

We will be working with our players and staff to find them a new organization to compete under. During this transition period, eUnited plans on providing them with access to the eUnited Rainbow Six team house through the holiday season until a final decision is made on their future.

We wish the best to our players, the fans, Ubisoft, and the rest of the teams in the North American Pro League.”
