Tarik “tarik” Celik is a 25-year-old Turkish/American player who had been playing for Evil Geniuses since September 2019. On the other hand, Michał “MICHU” Müller is a 24-year-old Polish player who recently played for Team Envy.

Evil Geniuses had been struggling to improve for the past few months, and even though they showed some good games, they had pretty bad ones too. Because of that, they wanted to make roster changes on their CS:GO team.

Yesterday, Evil Geniuses announced that they benched Tarik and added MICHU into active roster. While MICHU was saying that this is the biggest challenge in his career, he also showed how excited he is to play under Evil Geniuses jersey.

Here is the official announcement from Evil Geniuses:

“As an integral part to our ongoing presence in CS:GO, tarik is transitioning to focus on streaming and content creation. We are excited to support and work with him while exploring the next steps in his career.

Say hello to the newest Evil Genius, Michał ‘MICHU’ Müller! He is joining our CSGO team during our current European boot camp.”

MICHU said:

“I officially joined Evil Geniuses! This is the biggest challenge in my career, but I can assure you that I’m ready for it. We’re getting ready at the bootcamp in Serbia, because the debut is on 20.04! Lots of work ahead of us, keep your fingers crossed for us.”
