Tarik “tarik” Celik is a 24-year-old American/Turkish CS:GO player who has been representing Evil Geniuses for over a year. Previously, he had played for teams like MIBR, Cloud9, NRG Esports, and more.

At the ESL Pro League Playoffs, Evil Geniuses lost against Furia Esports in the Upper Bracket Final with 0-2 and went to the Losers’ Bracket Final. Yesterday, Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves met again to decide which team will be on the finals, and 100 Thieves edge away Evil Geniuses with 2-0 scores.

Following the loss, Tarik took to his official Twitter account to share his feeling about the matchup and revealed why they lost the series.

In the tweet, Tarik admitted that they didn’t play well as they should be and said that they couldn’t capitalize on their leads during the match and that’s why they lost 100 Thieves in the best of three series.

Here is what Tarik wrote:

Not the greatest showing from us, couldn’t capitalize on our leads. Back to work for the next one Out of Pro League, GG’s 100 Thieves!”
