After winning the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 with Cloud9, Tarik and his colleagues became the first North American players that won the major and wrote the history. However, the things didn’t work out for the team and Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham retired while Jacky ‘Jake’ “Stewie2K” Yip and Tarik transferred to SK Gaming/MIBR.

Tarik took to his official Twitter account to spoke about his departure from Cloud9 and revealed the worst part of leaving the North American organization.

In the tweet, Tarik pointed out that he wanted Cloud9 to become the last team he played and said that he wished the things ended up differently. Also, Tarik stated that the worst part of leaving Cloud9 was leaving his teammates behind.

Cloud9 CEO Jack Etienne wrote:

I enjoyed working on this interview with Striker, thanks to both you and HLTV. To those questioning tarik‘s move to MIBR, it’s understandable why he left and I don’t hold anything against him for it. Nothing but respect for him and I’m grateful for his time on C9.”

Here is what Tarik said:

“The thing that sucked the most was leaving my teammates behind. I thought C9 would be the last team I played under. I wish things could have ended differently but I always cherish the good times. Thanks for having me Jack.”
