23-year-old American League Of Legends player Greyson Gilmer, known as “Goldenglue,” has been representing Evil Geniuses for over a month. Previously, he was playing for Golden Guardians.

Via his official Twitter account, Goldenglue revealed his feelings about how toxic the community is and showed how bad the League Of Legends scene right now.

In the post, Goldenglue stated that he feels so bad how the community reacts after a team loses and mentioned that there are so much toxicity and hatefulness to professional players from the fans, who don’t know what it is like to compete in front of the whole world.

Here is what Goldenglue said:

“It makes me really sad how badly our community evicerates players after losses. There is so much toxicity and hatefulness to pro players from people who have LITERALLY no idea what it’s like to compete in front of hundreds of thousands online.”

A fan named Ethan replied:

“Definitely the downside of having fans. The loud majority will always be heard the most in negative situations.”

Another fan named Tristan replied:

“True and I think that a lot of the hate is undeserved and overdone, but we also have no idea what it’s like to be famous and paid to play our favorite game more than most jobs pay. There are downsides and upsides to every job.”
