Evil Geniuses’ Stanislaw on oBo: “He Is Kind Of The X-Factor On Our Team”

Evil Geniuses had been underperforming since the beginning of the online era of the Counter-Strike, and they have made their first decision by parting ways with Chet “Chet” Singh and adding Wilton “zews” Prado in the coaching position.

Afterward, Ethan “Ethan” Arnold announced his retirement from CS:GO and joined 100 Thieves Valorant roster. Then, the organization signed one of the greatest talents in the world, Owen “oBo” Schlatter in the next month.

However, things didn’t get any better with these changes. Therefore, Evil Geniuses decided to bench Tarik “tarik” Celik and added Polish rifler Michał “MICHU” Müller in April 2021 to complete the roster.

Since then, the roster has been showing promising performances but they couldn’t close out the series. Because of that, the roster decided to part ways with their coach, Wilton “zews” Prado, earlier this month.

After the departure of zews, Evil Geniuses started to play much better in the tournaments, especially in IEM Summer 2021. During the conversation with, Peter “Stanislaw” Jarguz revealed that they needed a change, but it wasn’t on the players’ side and that’s the reason why they parted ways with zews.

Furthermore, the veteran in-game leader shared his opinions about the new members of the team, MICHU and oBo, and praised his teammates. According to Stanislaw, there is no downside of MICHU because he is an all-around player, a great teammate, and a great aimer.

Afterward, Stanislaw mentioned how a good and talented player oBo is by saying that he is kind of the x-factor of the team if they need something special, even though he is less experienced than any other players in the team.

Interviewer asked:

“What would you say MICHU’s strengths are? What does he add to the team?”

Stanislaw replied:

“He’s just all-around a great teammate. He works hard, he has very good aim, he’s very calm, and he brings a lot of ideas. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about him.”

Interviewer asked:

“It has been a bit longer since oBo came in, about three months ago. Now that you’ve had some time with him, how has his integration into the team been?”

Stanislaw said:

“It has been tough to integrate him because he doesn’t have as much experience as the rest of us, but he’s stepping up to the plate a lot more recently. He’s giving a lot of ideas, as well. He’s obviously very gifted at the game and he has incredible aim.

He’s kind of the X-factor on our team if we’re ever in need of something special — he’ll just pull it out of his pocket and that’s great to have. So hopefully, with more time, he’ll get more match experience under his belt and we’ll keep on improving and integrating him into the system.”

Evil Geniuses’ roster right now might have the biggest firepower that have ever had in their history, and if they could managed to separate roles perfectly, they could definitely play for the top of the leaderboard once again.
