Tomáš Šťastný, known as “Oskar,” is a 29-year-old Czech player who is mostly known for his time with Mousesports between 2016-2019. In March, he left Mousesports and tried his luck in Hellraisers and Sprout.

However, things didn’t work out for him and he joined Sinners Esports in December 2020. He had been playing for the team since then, but yesterday, he couldn’t participate in the Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Playoffs 1 against Lyngby Vikings.

Oskar revealed on his official Twitter account that he has been fighting against coronavirus for five days, but it didn’t get any better since then. Because of that, he decided to step down for a bit to recover.

While this is showing how dangerous this disease could be, the community also worried about the health of Oskar. His former teammate from Mousesports, Chris “chrisJ” de Jong, was also one of the people who wished the best for his long-time friend. “Get better soon brother,” he said.

“Rest and recover should be the only thing on your mind,” Movistar Riders’ AWP player Smooya hoped that he could recover fast. “Nice that you give good vibes but log out and just get the rest needed brother, take care.”

Here is what Oskar said:

“Not going to play our matches today with the team, been fighting covid for fifth day and its not getting any better. Fingers crossed for my teammates in Funspark ULTI 2021 where we are in the lower bracket after yesterday’s loss against Dignitas, go get that win today.”
