Lee Ga-eul, known as “Aria,” is a 20-year-old South Korean League Of Legends player who has been playing under DetonatioN FocusMe for over ten months. Previously, he was playing for Crest Gaming Act.

After the first day of the play-in stage at the League Of Legends World Championship, Aria spoke in a recent interview with Korizon Esports’ Ashley Kang and shared his opinion about Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok.

Aria and DetonatioN FocusMe managed to beat Unicorns Of Love in their debut match at Worlds play-in stage, but they couldn’t continue their performance against the North American team, Cloud9.

In the interview, Aria pointed out that Faker is not an ordinary player to him, he is more like a God-like figure, and this is the main reason why he really wants to face him during the tournament.

Furthermore, the young mid laner mentioned that he would really like to face the organizations such as T1 and EDG in Group B after the play-in stage because he believes these matches will be nervous and fun at the same time.

Aria on facing T1 and Faker:

“EDG and T1 have players who have been famous for a long time. If we do end up facing teams like EDG and T1, I can see myself feeling immense pressure just at the idea of playing against them. So it will be nervous… But also fun.

For me, at least, the player that is Faker feels like… Something that is beyond a player, a God-like figure. So if I try to imagine myself landing against him on stage. I can’t even imagine what that will be like.”
