Famous CS:GO Player Steel Thinks This Community Is Worse Than CS:GO

Joshua Nissan, known as “Steel” is a Canadain/British former CS:GO player who had played for teams like iBUYPOWER, GX, Torqued, Ghost Gaming and more. Currently, he is streaming on Twitch. On 15 September He replied to Richard Lewis and Steel said that the Overwatch community is worse than CS:GO community.
Richard Lewis said:
“Doubt anyone will crack anything. OWL viewing figures remain the most manipulated statistic in all of esports and anyone who speaks out about that fact gets the Activision Blizzard attack dogs set on them.”
Steel replied:
“When I think the CS community is bad, I really should start thinking back to the overwatch community.”

Interesting implications here. I wonder how these things are tracked internally on the Twitch side, can’t imagine the folks at Twitch aren’t aware that this is possible. https://t.co/hCIbQ81Nof

I think odds are that they are aware and probably have internal tracking to identify where a “view” is coming from and value of said view. I haven’t seen anything yet on who made the ad buy aside from circumstantial evidence. Waiting to see someone crack this open.
