Canadian caster Parker “Interro” Mackay, had been into major tournaments like Pro League Season 9 – Finals, Six Invitational 2019 and more. On 6 May, he revealed the actions that made him better caster and given the tip for the people that who need to improve themselves. He highlighted the criticism is so much important and changing the parts of he disliked.

Interro said:

“Shortly before the Invitational I made a conscious effort to change up how I paced myself and built energy during the final moments of action. I threw out many of my old habits after identifying the parts I disliked. It’s a long process but I feel more in control of my casting. I’ve always struggled to build up “hype” in ways that suit the weight or importance of a moment. Truthfully, I’ve always hated the sound of my voice whenever I got loud. It’s been something I’ve worked on coming to terms with. I don’t cringe as much at some of my calls anymore.”

He continued:

“Overall I like where I’m heading. I still have a lot of things to iron out with the way I build up a big moment and how I describe certain events. I could build on my word play a bit more and improve my hype, too. But I’m happy with the direction my casting is going.”

The final part of his announcement:

“I didn’t make this thread because I wanted reassurance or compliments either. I actually prefer hearing ways I can improve rather than the things I do well. I’ve been fortunate to get a lot of helpful feedback over the last few months and it’s definitely made me a better caster.”
