Markus Kjærbye, known as “Kjaerbye,” is a 22-year-old Danish CS:GO player who had played for teams like Astralis, Team Dignitas, and more. Since February 2018, he had been playing for North.

Today, FaZe Clan announced that they agreed with Kjaerbye as a fifth player for their CS:GO roster, after saying goodbye to their stand-in, Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras.

Even though Kjaerbye didn’t say much about the announcement, he showed his love for FaZe Clan by using the motto of the organization, FaZe Up. Also, his newest teammate Håvard “rain” Nygaard stated that he is so excited to play with such a talented player.

Here is the official announcement from FaZe Clan:

“It’s official. Meet the new 5th member of FaZe Clan’s professional CS:GO Roster: Kjaerbye.”

Kjaerbye wrote:

“FaZe Up!”

Rain said:

“Everyone welcome Kjaerbye to the squad. Looking forward to to see what the future holds for us! Also a big thank you to bymas for playing with us and good luck in Mousesports!”
