Jason Ruchelski, known as “jasonR,” is a 26-year-old former CS:GO player who had played for teams like Optic Gaming, Splyce, and more. In 2017, he retired from the scene to become a full-time streamer on Twitch.

Over a month ago, FaZe Clan agreed with jasonR as a team captain for their new Valorant roster alongside the addition of Corey “corey” Nigra.

However, it seems like jasonR and FaZe Clan are having disputes about the recruitments of the players. Yesterday, FaZe Clan announced that jasonR left the roster and will be building his own team in the Valorant scene.

Also, jasonR mentioned in his streams that he has no idea what is going on in FaZe Clan, and he didn’t even know who they are signing for the team. Moreover, he said that he don’t wanna play for the team which he is forced to.

Here is the official announcement from FaZe Clan:

“FaZe Clan and Jason Ruchelski have decided to part ways – he’s looking to build a Valorant roster & seek opportunities elsewhere. We had a great working experience with Jason, and hope our paths cross again in the future!”
