Nikola Kovac, known as “Niko,” is a 23-year-old Bosnian CS:GO player who has been representing FaZe Clan for over three and a half years. In his career, he earned over $700.000 from the tournaments.

For some reason, some of the people in the community think that Niko is the person who decides to kick players from the roster, and they even blamed him for kicking Finn “karrigan” Andersen when he left the team in 2019.

Because of these speculations, Niko wanted to clear the air about his role in the team and made a statement by using his official Twitter account.

In the tweet, Niko stated that he can’t believe the community thinks that he is in charge of the roster and revealed that he is not the person who decides to make the roster changes. Also, Niko unveiled that he decided to stay in FaZe even before Karrigan was removed from the team.

Here is what Niko said:

“I can’t believe that most of community thinks that I’m the one who was/is in the charge of all the changes happened in our team, even though karrigan was/supposed to be removed from the lineup back in 2018 before I decided to stay within FaZe.”

His former teammate Kioshima replied:

“Rumors are being made by the community and by telling others it becomes a reality, unfortunately. It’s only speculation. *But you kicked me bro…”

Evil Geniuses player Stanislaw replied:

The community knows us better than we know ourselves. Good luck.”
