Jimmy Berndtsson, known as “Jumpy” is a 32-year-old Swedish CS:GO coach who had been a member of Fnatic since August 2016. On 3 September 2019, Fnatic announced that they will say goodbye to Jumpy. Also, they said that their new coach will be Andreas “Samuelsson” Samuelsson who was a Team Manager of CS:GO team for Fnatic.

Jumpy said:

“As of today I’m no longer a part of fnatic. It’s been 3 years with alot of good memories and I wish the team all the best in the future. Even though it’s a bit sad to not to be working with them I’m excited to see what the future holds.”

Samuelsson said:

“There’s no secret that we have had significant issues with consistency. Now, I’m looking forward to taking the lead in improving the team and the individuals – aspects extending to both in- and out-of-game – as well working closely with our IGL and mental coach.”

Samuelsson added:

“I want to highlight that we all get on with Jimmy very well, and we separate on nothing but good terms. The reason we won’t extend his contract is simply that – whilst being head coach since 2016 – we’ve seen mixed results and it’s of agreed belief that the team needs a new voice in the locker room. We all wish him nothing but success in the future.”
