Fnatic is one of the household organizations that dominated the scene back in the day. However, the organization had been struggling to show up in the tournaments and events for the last five years.

Therefore, Fnatic decided to make a radical change and parted ways with their legendary player Jesper “JW” Wecksell. While doing so, they also announced that Fnatic will go international for the first time instead of the Swedish roster.

Yesterday, Fnatic officially announced that they agreed with both Alex “ALEX” McMeekin and William “mezii” Merriman, who played together at Cloud9’s colossus project that failed last year.

ALEX pointed out that he is so excited to join such a great organization like Fnatic and said that he is looking forward to work with talented players to rise Fnatic to the top once again.

On the other hand, mezii also mentioned that he is so excited to represent black & oranges and stated that he is ready to grind to the top with the new Fnatic squad and bring back Fnatic’s old glory.

“Welcome Mr Eggman and Jimmy Neutron,” KRIMZ showed how happy he is about the new roster via Twitter. “Super excited about this, first time playing on a international team!”

ALEX shared his feelings on joining Fnatic:

“It’s not coming home, but I am. I’m honored to be joining such a legendary team as fnatic, i’m lucky to be joining a group of amazing players & staff who all share the common goal of bringing fnatic back to the top. I can’t wait to get started!”

Mezii said:

“I’m excited to finally announce that I’ve joined the Fnatic family! I’ve achieved a lot with the Team Endpoint boys & wish them the best going forward!

I’m ready to grind with this great international roster & represent new colours under a historic organization.”

Fnatic is now:

Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin
Jack “Jackinho” Ström Mattsson
Alex “ALEX” McMeekin
William “mezii” Merriman
