Hunter Mims, known as “SicK,” is a 21-year-old American CS:GO player who had played for teams like Complexity Gaming, Team SoloMid, Misfits Gaming, and many more. In his career, he earned around $100.000 from the events.

SicK has shared a new post on his official Twitter account and made a statement about his departure from the Counter-Strike scene.

In the statement, SicK said that he is not having fun anymore while playing Counter-Strike and that’s why he is retiring from the game. Also, he stated that Valorant comes at a perfect time, and he will try his chance on Valorant.

Here is what SicK said

“After 5 years and almost 800 official maps played, I’m taking a step back from competitive CS:GO. The game has become incredibly stale and tedious for me. Valorant comes at a perfect time but it was inevitable anyway. I’ve spent my entire adult life in this game, it’s been fun.”

MIBR player TACO replied:

“Good luck, dude!”

Female player bENITA replied:

“Wishing you nothing but success in your new adventure!”
