One of the iconic members in the Counter-Strike scene, Jacob Winneche, known as “Pimp,” is a 24-year-old former Danish CS:GO player who had played for teams like SK Gaming, Team Liquid, Team Dignitas, and more. Currently, he is a freelance analyst.

After the Rio Major has postponed because of the coronavirus concern, Pimp has shared a new post on his official Twitter account stated that Esports scene is so lucky to compete in online events compared to other sports.

Here is what Pimp said:

“The Rio major has been rescheduled to November. 2nd major of the year has been canceled as a result of that. The prize pool is doubled to 2 million dollars. We as a community are lucky we can still play, compete and be competitive online until we can return to normal!”

A fan user named AlternatedSam replied:

“Feel like more teams should get a chance to play in it. Feels empty without 2 majors :(“
